The club members spontaneously decided to support the association &#8220; Li<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">ch<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">t f<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">\u00fc<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">r Tibet e.V.&#8220; based in Sulzbach-Rosenberg with 1000 Euro.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a name=\"result_box\"><\/a><a name=\"result_box2\"><\/a><a name=\"gt-res-dir-ctr\"><\/a><a name=\"result_box4\"><\/a> <span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">The association &#8220; Li<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">ch<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">t f<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">\u00fc<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">r Tibet e.V.&#8220; supports Tibetans living in Indian exile. Every year, especially children and you<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">ngsters<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span lang=\"en-US\"> flee from Tibet over the snowy passes of the Himalayas to India. There, however, they <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">are exposed to<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span lang=\"en-US\"> difficult conditions, for example they have to bear the majority of the costs for medical treatment themselves. In addition, they have no secure future in Hindu India, because <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">for them <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">it <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">is <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">difficult to find work and no money is available for attending schools or training centers. Therefore, &#8222;Li<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">ch<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">t f<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">\u00fc<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">r Tibet&#8220; is trying to help them in their new beginning in exile. <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">T<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">he association also provides sponsorships for monks, nuns, needy families or children. In addition, not only young people need support, but also the elderly and the sick, whose families live in great poverty. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><a name=\"result_box3\"><\/a> <span style=\"color: #333333;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Dr. Andrea Winkler-Wilfurth from the foundation of the same name, together with Round Table Member Martin Asmus, arranged a visit <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">of<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-US\"> Lama Tendar. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">A<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">ccording to <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">him<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-US\"> currently about 150,000 compatriots are <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">living <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">in India. Lama Tendar was brought to India as a small child by his mother from the Kham region in Tibet via the Himalayas. In Buthan he graduated from the University of Stupa Construction there. In Darjeeling, he received training in Tibetan Buddhist philosophy.
